Beech’s was founded in 1920 by Edward Collinson. He chose Preston as the foundations for his company as it had a busy port and good road links for distribution to the rest of the country. At first the chocolate products were sold at fairgrounds but by the end of the Second World War, the company has successfully penetrated the top end of the luxury market. Beech’s products only use the finest milk and dark chocolate that contain only natural colours and flavours, still keeping with the original recipes that have been perfected for almost a century. Beech’s After Dinner Selection combines English Mitcham Mint oil, grown on the rolling downs of Hampshire, with our delicious dark chocolate.
